We invite you to join our upcoming workshop on Saturday, June 8th from 9am – 11am at the Dunbar Community Centre.
The Rapid Damage Assessment (RDA) course teaches advanced skills to identify unsafe conditions in wood frame, masonry and concrete construction caused by floods, earthquakes or windstorms. Individuals learn to assess damage to determine whether buildings can be occupied. We will use BC Housing’s course material.
The course is free of charge. There is an optional minimal charge of $8 to cover the cost of a manual. Those who cannot pay the $8 may borrow a manual for the duration of the course.
(Note: BC Housing charges $70 per person.)
