We are a group of health professionals working at the intersection of climate and health

SUMMARY:

CAPE is a national body – Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment, involved in promoting health and the environment, by engaging with governments, running campaigns, conducting research, and drawing media attention to key issues in this area.

Planetary Health Clinics

An initiative started under the CAPE umbrella, the PHCs are run by health care professionals working at the intersection of climate change and health.

We would like to engage with you in a discussion of how we can prevent some of the dire consequences of climate change and also how we can better adapt to coming changes. What are your ideas how we can move forward together towards a healthier future?

Our presentation will be brief, touching on what we can do to protect our health during climate disasters, mitigation strategies to prevent more events, and the mental health impacts of climate change along with some strategies to face our quickly changing world.
